On the seventh anniversary of the Wisconsin Uprising, here’s a valentine for soon-to-be former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker: Another compilation of protest songs! CheddaREvolution: Songs of Resurgence, will feature new and original protest songs of all styles and genres.

Cheddar Revolution: Songs of Uprising is now available at college and university libraries all over the state. This is part of our on-going efforts at outreach and spreading the word. Sofia Talvik is a Swedish singer/songwriter who just released her 5th album, The Owls Are Not What They Seem. She embarked on her extensive Drivin' & Dreaming US tour in November 2011 and will be playing her way through the US until either she or her tour bus breaks down for good.

She has played big festivals like Lollapalooza, SxSW, CMJ etc but this acoustic solo tour focuses more on the personal connection between Sofia and her audience and you will more likely see her at small intimate venues than the large arenas.
